Job Description

As an experienced member of our team, you will participate in the entire lifecycle of your projects. You are a licensed architect with the honed skill of keeping your design plans on schedule and budget. You have a passion for the process, client experience, and outstanding project outcomes. You’ve been working in a larger firm and are tired of doing the same projects repeatedly – you’re also not willing to wait for another 5 years for a shot at Principal. If you are looking for a new opportunity to grow professionally, mentor young professionals, and contribute to some truly remarkable work, let’s talk!

How you’ll spend your days:

  • Developing and presenting project deliverables to our clients
  • Actively facilitating client meetings to collect, process, and develop conceptual designs and preliminary plans
  • Working with your project design team to develop construction documents while following internal budgets that help ensure profitability goals are met
  • Participating and managing the development of preliminary plans -SD through DD and CD phases using REVIT and AutoCAD
  • Taking your projects from cradle to grave, managing a small team
  • Managing communication with all stakeholders - ensuring projects are meeting expectations, staying on schedule and on budget
  • Coaching and mentoring junior team members as well as jumping in to help other teams when needed

Qualifications

That you’ll need to be successful:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and about 5 years of professional experience in commercial architecture with exposure to the entire design lifecycle
    • At least a year of project management experience managing projects from start to finish
    • Advanced competency using REVIT and AutoCAD – we also use Sketchup
    • Comprehensive understanding of building codes, building science, construction and experience writing specifications
    • Entrepreneurial spirit with an action-oriented mindset – creative and process-oriented with a focus on delighting the client
    • Strong communication skills - an active listener, well-spoken, and confident presenter
    • Naturally self-directed, resourceful, with an agile mind – you can switch priorities quickly
    • Building strong relationships with your team and your clients for outstanding project outcomes is one of your foundational values
    • A desire to be part of a growing firm - taking ownership of a variety of interesting projects on an abbreviated path to principal!

    Additional Information

    What you’ll enjoy:

    • Salary $66,000 - $84,000 and a premium suite of benefits
    • Open spacious work environment and no downtown commute!
    • Walking distance to Light Rail, Buck Recreation Center and charming Downtown Littleton
