Job Description

As the newest member of our Project Team you’re experience managing large commercial design-build, remodel and upgrade projects is key to your success.You’ll be involved in every aspect of each project; planning, scheduling, communication with key stakeholders and making sure we are always in compliance with city and special district building codes/licensing/permitting/storage – you get the idea.

How you’ll spend your day:

  • Working with your team to convert project estimates into work orders so that materials can be purchased and installation crews can get their work done
  • Maintaining fluid communication between estimating and the field supervisors
  • Completing shop drawings and submitting them to appropriate parties for approval
  • Handling administration of contracts forsigning and approval
  • Ensuring the appropriate insurance certificates are in place for all projects
  • Purchasing materials in the best interest of the company to comply with the specifications for the project
  • Aggregating weekly/monthly/project reports and producing billing reports to accounting accurately and on time
  • Compiling change requests and submitting them to owner/contractor
  • Writing and submitting warranty information and O & M manuals as required for the project

Qualifications

What you bring to the table:

  • An undergraduate degree in a business, engineering or industrial discipline
  • 5 years of professional work experience in the construction industry
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and other standard tools of the trade
  • You have a solid understanding of how to read, analyze and interpret project plans, specifications, blueprints and photos
  • You bring a friendly, outgoing and professional communication style with you to work every day
  • You are naturally self-directed, resourceful, with an agile mind – you can switch priorities quickly and your memory is remarkable
  • Passionate about making deadlines
  • You have a good sense of humor, driven to excellence and able to set boundaries with a smile
  • You are comfortable working in and around the Denver Metro area
