Inspired people, amazing designs, and projects with purpose.Job DescriptionOlsson's Facility Engineering and Design Team is at the forefront of engineering innovation, providing comprehensive services for large commercial developments, healthcare facilities, laboratories, educational institutions, data centers, and military installations. Our expertise includes engineering analysis, design services, and professional consulting, ensuring top-tier quality and world class installations. We also provide building inspection and forensic investigation services. As a member of this team, you will contribute to diverse, high-impact projects, delivering engineering solutions that make a tangible difference in communities and industries.As a Project Mechanical Engineer on our Facilities Engineering and Design team, you will serve as project manager on small projects, prepare planning and design documents, and process design calculations. You will provide leadership, project management, and technical support to the team. Your responsibilities will include executing quality assurance/quality control plans for the team, elevating the level of technical expertise within the team through technical design mentoring and training, and interfacing with clients. Flexibility and willingness to provide timely solutions are a must. You will also coordinate with other Olsson teams, professional staff, technical staff, and clients. You may travel to job sites for observation and attend client meetings.QualificationsYou are passionate about:

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

8+ years of related mechanical engineering experience.

Must be a registered Professional Engineer.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

Understanding of International Building Codes.

Experience with RSMeans.

Typical salary range for this position is $108,000 to $143,000+, and is commensurate with experience relative to the position.Olsson is an EEO employer.
