The candidate will:
Develop, edit, and audit proposal documents, to include Basis of Estimate (BOEs), Bill of Materials (BOM), Cost Proposal, and other documents as required by the Government customer.
Respond to task order proposal requests from the Government.
Track proposal due dates and develop and maintain schedules with task order teams.
Analyze proposed costs and review for accuracy.
Lead proposal kick-off and development meetings.
Administer multiple proposal efforts.
Coordinate with the technical and program management teams on proposal documents.
Conduct other proposal development and contract administration duties as assigned by the Contracts Managers.
Communicate summary of proposal status to Management effectively.
The successful candidate will be:
Able to perform tasks successfully with minimal guidance under short timelines.
Responsive, flexible, organized, and have a strong attention to detail.
Able to manage shifting work priorities and multiple proposal due dates.
A highly motivated self-starter with ability to work independently and with others in a collaborative environment.
Highly proficient in verbal and written communications, as well as interpersonal skills.
This position can be filled at Schriever SFB, Colorado Springs, CO.This position is expected to pay $83,000 - $93,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.This position will be posted for a minimum of 3 days. Must have 6 years directly related experience.
Must have 3 years in management or leadership roles.
Must be familiar with cost/price data development.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Must have, or be able to obtain an active DoD Secret clearance
Desired Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience with MS Project preferred
