As a Public Health Communications Intern, you’ll work with our Communicable Disease Epidemiology team to create engaging materials that inform communities, healthcare providers, and stakeholders about disease prevention and response. You’ll gain hands-on experience designing webpages, crafting outreach materials, and developing media content—all while enjoying flexible hours, a hybrid work setup, and mentorship from experienced professionals.
The anticipated hiring range for this position is $20/hour.
Job duties and expectations require the employee to be onsite once per week and as needed.

More Qualifications for SuccessExperience: No formal experience required. Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Public Health, Communications, Marketing, Epidemiology, or a related field.Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual in English and Spanish or other primary language spoken in Adams County.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Basic knowledge of public health issues and concepts.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
Standard office equipment includes but is not limited to, laptop computers, tablets and associated hardware and software, telephones, copiers, calculators, and audiovisual equipment.
