Python Developer I (AWS, Kinesis) - Remote

CEI's Client, a Fortune 50 telecom, tv, and internet provider, is adding a Python Developer I to their team. Long-term contract position planned for extension with the potential for FTE conversionCandidates can sit anywhere in the US as this is a remote positionPay range is $45.00-$50.00 / HR + Benefits (medical, dental, vision, and 401k).This role will be 70% development and 30% solution architectureSeeking experience with Strong Python, AWS, IAM, Kinesis, cloudwatch, Dynamo db. Experience with Kafka is a big plus.

• Develop enhancements and new features for current applications using Python
• Contribute to development of new products and solutions.
• Developing scripts to pull and report data from MySQL and NoSQL Databases.
• Assist with development of internal APIs using Python,
• Assist with writing effective user stories and divide the stories into SCRUM tasks

• 1-3 years of experience with Python Programming Language (preference for enterprise level experience)
• AWS experience to include Kinesis, IAM and CloudWatch
• Basic understanding of Databases (preference for DynamoDB, MySQL, NoSQL, Oracle and Crunchbase)
• Understanding or exposure to Kafka is nice to have but not required
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science highly preferred
• Ability to learn complex code bases for in-depth tools and applications
