POSITION SUMMARY

Provides administrative and reception support for Alterra Mountain Company in Denver. The individual will serve as the hub of communication between guests, employees, and vendors, while creating an inclusive and engaging community. This position provides administrative and project support to Human Resources while providing primary reception duties on a day-to-day basis.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Reception

  • Professionally greets and answers calls in a friendly tone and welcome guests to our office space.
  • Respond to telephone calls and visitors in a prompt and friendly manner, ensuring that each caller, visitor, client or job candidate has a positive first impression of Alterra Mountain Company
  • Provides office and administrative support including the sorting and distribution of incoming mail, prepares shipping of packages, creates documents, reports, expense reports and other duties as requested.
  • Maintain company phone extension and Denver office directory.
  • Create and maintain office forms (daily and monthly visitation) as requested and maintain office manuals
  • Assist in booking meetings and office events, sets up schedules for candidates as directed, and may be required to provide project support as needed.
  • Assist with office repairs (lights, furniture, signage, etc.), tidy up the office, stock office supplies, check machines to make sure they are working properly
  • Versed in Company security systems and surveillance, ensure they are working properly and effectively
  • Keep inventory of pantry goods and order as needed
  • Upkeep of kitchen, coffee station, and common areas
  • Be a key player in building and strengthening the Alterra community
  • Other duties as assigned

Human Resources

  • Sets up new hire office/cubical space prior to hire date and ensuring they have everything they need on day one.
  • Distribute/Re-Issue RTD passes, parking information, security access and communicates with IT on new hire needs
  • Assist Community Manager with event planning and execution
  • Create and distribute Wifi cards monthly
  • Assist the Accounting-Procurement team with coding and sending invoices
  • Miscellaneous responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide Real Deal vouchers to employees and their dependents, create and renew WiFi access as needed, help enforce front-desk portion of PCI compliance (guest sign-in; creation, distribution, and collection of visitor badges; etc.).
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School diploma required; 1-2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to write and communicate directions clearly
  • Organized and detail-oriented with a strong habit of follow-through
  • Self-motivated, guest-oriented, works well under pressure
  • Positive, energetic attitude towards guests and peers
  • Professional, friendly manner and appearance
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint

The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Alterra Mtn Co Shared Services Inc. hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Alterra Mtn Co Shared Services Inc.’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.

Denver area base hourly pay range: $15.87 – $24.04 per hour
