JOB DESCRIPTIONPosition Title: Safety CoordinatorDepartment: SafetyLocation: Greeley, COReports to: Claims SupervisorPrinciple Responsibilities:

Take incoming accident intake calls on the accident hotline from drivers.

Claim property damage losses with our TPA, Sedgwick Claims Management Services.

Enter accidents and un-reported truck/trailer damage in the TMW system.

Provide accident numbers or safety comments to weekly P&L spreadsheet.

Research and reference repair invoices to correct accident numbers in the TMT system.

Forward pictures or documentation sent into the accident phone to the appropriate contacts.

Conduct weekly meetings with the JBS Carriers Accident/Warranty Specialist.

Assist in estimation process for accidents and unreported damage.

Investigate and handle Farm damage reports and claims between internal entities.

Compile and submit bill back supportsbetween internal entities.

Investigate and document complaints, accusations of property damage, and other incidents

Maintain all accident files consistent with department standards

Provide phone assistance with incoming calls from drivers.

Compile and update various weekly accident reports in Excel workbooks.

Report accidents and un-reported truck/trailer damage to the appropriate contacts

Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Oneyear of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as crash reports, insurance claim documents, safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondences.

Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

Ability to apply commonsense understanding in order to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Must be able to communicate with drivers and state agencies.

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

Base salary range of $18 per hour
