Seeking Paid Participants - Cannabis and Alcohol Research Study

Who is conducting the study and what is this study about?:

Researchers from the psychology department at Colorado State University are recruiting participants for a study to examine how cannabis use impacts alcohol consumption, and how both of these substances impact the gut, the brain and behavior.

Who can join this study?:

You can participate in this study if you are an adult (age 21-60) who drinks alcohol and smokes flower cannabis regularly.

Why should I join this study?:

This study serves to benefit the public by increasing our understanding of how cannabis use impacts the brain and body. The study will also give you a chance to examine your own substance use behavior.

What will I be asked to do?:

You will be asked to come to the first appointment at our lab on campus (for 1hr) as well as two appointments that will take place in our mobile laboratory (for approx. 4.5-5.5 hours) which will come to your place of residence. We will also ask you to complete a short daily survey (3 minutes/day) over the course of 4-weeks. You can earn up to $246 for participating in all aspects of the study.
