Job Description

This analyst will be responsible for financial planning efforts such as formal monthly forecasting support, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Balance Sheet analysis, Cash Flow analysis, Strategic 5-year Long Range Planning (LRP), Short Range Outlook (SRO) support, as well as supporting other ad-hoc analyses and management reviews.

Duties include analyzing, tracking, and reporting financial performance. The candidate will be responsible for preparing various analyses to ensure accurate reporting and early warning of issues. This position will also be responsible for continuing to identify ways to improve processes and further levels of efficiency. Additionally, this role will have regular opportunities to provide valuable insight to help influence management decision-making.

This position requires proactive direction and significant interaction with functional stakeholders and executives to ensure alignment regarding plan, operating and financial objectives. The selected candidate must be able to work under deadlines and constraints. This position requires the ability to summarize, package, and present information to all levels of organization.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

7+ years applicable work in Financial Management, Financial Planning and Analysis, or related areas of finance

Ability to effectively analyze financial data and communicate financial information internally and externally

Reviews financial reports, presentations for accuracy and completeness

Experience with consolidating and analyzing large financial data sets necessary to ensuring financial forecasts are accurate

Experience preparing presentation packages for executive level review

Working knowledge of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) concepts, related systems, and processes including budgeting, variance, and risk and opportunity analysis

Proficient computer software skills in MS Office - Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Demonstrated experience with ERP accounting system tools

Self-starter and takes ownership of assignments

Desired Skills:

· Autonomously create and accurately analyze cost data

· Demonstrated ability to be proactive, creative, and innovative and use critical and strategic thinking

· Demonstrated sense of urgency and ability to meet multiple commitments as expected

· Financial experience in the aerospace/defense industry

Required Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related discipline

Additional Information

Compensation: Base salary range is $85,000- $115,000, depending on qualifications. SEAKR has very rich medical, dental and vision insurance plans, along with a generous 401(k) retirement plan. In addition to base salary, employees are eligible for a year-end bonus. SEAKR offers a variety of paid leave, such as vacation, sick, bereavement, and FMLA.
