We are hiring a Senior Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to join our Corporate Finance team. This role will serve as a strategic partner to cross-functional teams within, Operations, Decision Support, and Investor Relations as we build an integrated business planning process to provide real-time financial modeling and reporting and actionable insights that drive the performance of AIR’s multi-family real estate portfolio.  The Sr. Manager of FP&A will work closely with leadership to build annual targets and multi-year plans, as well as various other financial models that deliver meaningful insights into business performance as well as contribute to enterprise-wide cross-functional projects and initiatives.Responsibilities:Lead the effort to create and maintain a multi-year financial model that is flexible and dynamic in order to run various scenario analysis and provide insights for key business decisions.Build critical cross-functional relationships, providing strategic financial analysis, guidance, and support in business decisions including headcount and expense planning.Prepare investment performance reports, including return metrics, valuations, proforma variance, and benchmarking.Assists in the preparation of financial reporting to support quarterly SEC earnings releases and regulatory filings, as well as external earnings call preparation. Support monthly and quarterly variance analysis of business performance versus annual budget, forecast and prior year.Collaborate with functional departments across the company to build and/or enhance reporting and analysis.Partner with IT, Accounting and other Finance departments in the selection and implementation of ERP system and other cross-functional system and tools enhancements.Work with the company's acquisitions and development teams on transactions and analysis.Keys to Success:Inspirational Leader: You are optimistic, and tuned in to how your behaviors affect others.  You lead by example, and speak candidly about tough issues facing the organization.  Champion of Change and Innovation: You adapt to changing circumstances readily.  You are passionate about seeing your company succeed, and find opportunities to champion ideas that make us better. Detail Oriented: You are consistently accurate, have an eye for detail and would always spot an error.Nimble Problem Solver: You proactively call out problems, while also providing recommendations and solutions.  You are optimistic and say "Yes!" to finding an answer.Team Focused: You help team members see the importance of what they are doing.  You provide guidance when needed, and have a track record of developing others; providing both constructive feedback and encouragement. Energized and Resilient: You are optimistic and display a positive attitude.  You're determined and maintain composure under stress.
