Together, we’ll draw on our legacies of disruption to change the way the world communicates Job Duties and Responsibilities Boost Mobile is seeking a Marketing Operations Analyst for a fast paced, highly technical business environment. The position involves budget development, budget to actual reporting and reconciliation, business case development, reconciliation of vendor accounts. This job offers opportunities to make significant contributions to the Marketing teams, since the business is growing and processes and procedures are evolving. A successful candidate will be able to build successful relationships and provide financial oversight for a rapidly growing business. Primary Responsibilities: Prepare the quarterly and annual budget and rolling forecasts Review monthly departmental accruals and invoices, as well as quarterly purchase order requests Interpret and analyze the monthly financial performance and support accounting month-end close activities Build and maintain weekly and monthly models for key operational and financial performance metrics, including KPI scorecards Create and deliver financial presentations to leadership with recommended financial implications of proposed decisions Conduct project reviews with financial oversight Leverage understanding of financial modeling, and a hypothesis-based approach to identify, validate and quantify multi year agreements Demonstrate aptitude for critical thinking in complex situations with the ability to synthesize ambiguous data into concrete results Track future pending commitments Produce clear, well-formatted reports that communicate a clear, compelling message for the business Perform ad-hoc analysis related to cost-savings opportunities and other corporate initiatives Acts as steward of financial accuracy and data integrity Skills, Experience and Requirements Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field MBA or MS-Finance is a plus but not required 7-10 years experience Business development, alliance management, and/or strategic marketing experience with financial/economic analysis preferably in consumer-focused wireless, high-tech (software, internet/new media, entertainment/content, etc.) or consumer electronics industries. Advanced skills in MS Excel Proficiency with financial tools (e.g., Smartview, Onestream, Oracle) Understanding of business financial and accounting concepts (Accruals, Reversal, GAAP principles, etc.) Intellectual curiosity, outstanding problem solving and strong analytical skills with the ability to seek, organize, analyze, and draw valid conclusions with attention to detail and accuracy Strong interpersonal skills, well-developed oral and written presentation skills, with the ability to summarize complex concepts into understandable and easy-to-follow presentation materials to communicate effectively with senior executives Collaborative; willing to roll up their sleeves with the team and get close to the details Change agent and motivator able to achieve alignment to a shared vision Highly organized and accountable Strategic and operational; able to think through strategic challenges and build ground-up solutions Salary Range Compensation: $65,800.00/Year - $94,000.00/Year Compensation and Benefits We also offer versatile health perks, including flexible spending accounts, HSA, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, career opportunities, and a flexible time away plan; all benefits can be viewed here: DISH Benefits.   The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
