Senior RAN Engineer / Architect. This is a 12+ Months contract opportunity with long-term potential (also open for Full Time Permanent role) and is located in Littleton, CO. The foundation of a connected world, it s a network free of the limitations of the past, and flexible enough to satisfy all the social, economic, and transformative needs of the changing worldJob Duties and Responsibilities:In the Network Development Team, the 5G RAN System Engineer will be the technical subject matter expert for all RAN related matters.The 5G RAN System Engineer will bring the solution through the development phase into a mature product ready for commercial deployment in the industry's first end-to-end, cloud-native 5G O-RAN / vRAN network.You will interact closely with Client key partners like Technology, Engineering, Operations, Project Mgmt. and RF Teams. Skills, Experience and Requirements- Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science or Telecommunications Engineering (Masters or PHD will be favorable).
- Ten to Fifteen years of experience in Radio Access Network (RAN) systems or combined experience.
- Proven track record from radio SW architect role with previous software development experience.
- In-depth knowledge on mobile networks, especially on 3GPP and FCC LTE 4G and 5G standards in RAN and the interface between radio network and core network.
- Familiarity of ORAN / vRAN split option 7-2x and related architecture design into both Radio and baseband directions is a plus.
- Good understanding of software development processes.

- Prior experience working with Mavenir, Samsung and Ericsson is preferred
