Senior Software DeveloperClient is looking for a committed and innovative developer with extensive experience and senior level skills in a variety of full stack web application design and development solutions. Client's current web applications are designed and built using widely accepted technologies including Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Junit, MySQL/MariaDB, Tomcat, JSPs, HTML, and CSS.

Experience/Skills

The successful candidate needs to have all of the following:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent.- 10+ years of experience working as a Java Developer and/or Team Leader in a variety of different company environments.- Proficient with the software development life cycle: requirements, design, coding, dev-level testing, deployment, maintenance.- OS's: Windows, UNIX/LINUX, and/or MAC OS.- JAVA: Deep Java coding-skills implementing a variety of full-stack, micro-service, and web service solutions.- SPRING: Spring and Spring Boot including Spring MVC, RESTful Spring, and ideally Spring Security.- JUNIT: Writing JUnit tests at the different tier levels: data tier, service tier, controller tier, etc.- DATABASE: Strong relational database and SQL coding using MySQL/MariaDB, Oracle, or equivalent.- DATA: Experience setting up data in a database for multiple environments (PROD, QA, UAT, L&P) for load and regression testing.- FRONT-END: JSPs, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, etc.

And at least some of these more recent technologies (the more, the better):- CONTAINERS: Docker, Podman, Skopeo, Quay, or equivalent.- SCALABILITY: Kubernetes, OpenShift- EVENT PROG: Kafka, Kafka Connect, etc.- FRAMEWORKS: One or more of Angular, React, Vue, etc.- QUEUEING: RabbitMQ- SECURITY: JWT, OAUTH, SAML, OKTA, OpenID Connect- CLOUD ENV: Amazon AWS/RDS, Ansible, Terraform, Vagrant, VirtualBox.- Mobile development and CI/CD experience is also a plus.
