Ski Patrol Basic

The Ski Patrol Basic is responsible for maintaining the ski area to provide a safe, efficient, well organized and enjoyable environment. This position reports to the Ski Patrol Director.Applications will be accepted until October 1, 2025 for Winter 25-26 positions.Essential Job FunctionsPatrol assigned work area while consistently greeting and engaging guests to promote a fun and friendly atmospherePerform daily trail maintenance including but not limited to determining trail openings and closures, placing signage and marking obstaclesEnsure that no guests remain on slopes or trails at end of day or during inclement weatherAdminister first aid, monitor and transport injured guestsLearn skills to safely evacuate guests from disabled chairliftsParticipate in avalanche mitigation and develop avalanche rescue skillsOperate dispatch/communications systems using clear, concise languagePack snow on slopesOther duties as assigned
