This position reports to the Ski Patrol Director.Job Posting Deadline: Applications for this position will be considered on a rolling basis until October 1, 2026.  Essential Job Functions / Key Job ResponsibilitiesPatrol assigned terrain to ensure a safe, welcoming, and high-quality mountain experience through proactive guest engagement, hazard awareness, and visibility across the mountainAssess and manage daily mountain conditions, including trail status, signage, hazard marking, and coordination of trail openings and closures in partnership with mountain operationsConduct end-of-day sweeps and closure procedures to ensure all guests have safely exited the mountain during normal operations and weather-related eventsRespond to medical and emergency incidents by providing immediate care, coordinating transport of injured guests, and executing established emergency response protocolsParticipate in lift evacuation operations, including training, preparedness, and execution under the direction of patrol leadershipSupport snow safety operations, including avalanche mitigation activities, terrain evaluation, and rescue response in coordination with snow safety teamsOperate dispatch and communication systems with accuracy, clarity, and professionalism to support effective mountain-wide coordination and incident responsePerform snow surface management activities, including packing and improving snow conditions to support safe and consistent skiing and riding experiencesOther duties as assigned
