The ticket office is looking for a Lead Payroll Scheduler for SnowSports School. .

Detailed job description, including responsibilities, work performed, tools or equipment used, etc.: Provide concierge-level service to our Gold and Silver VIP guests Check in Privates guests and match them with the right instructor to meet their lesson goals Assist guests and instructors with schedule changes, lesson date changes, guest resolution and other needs in the Private Lesson Office Attend all SSS lineups over course of day, selling lessons on snow with tablets as needed Assist SSS Supervisors with lift ticket access or SSS class access issues on snow Work collaboratively with SSS Supervisors to adjust schedules, provide guest information, assist in guest resolution, and other needs Update RTP and Flaik with instructor holds and notes Engage in ongoing data entry projects including changing instructors’ pay rates Compile daily, weekly, and monthly reports for Instructor labor Maintain accurate records of all incentive pay programs Maintain all payroll records for department Create and compile accurate reports for instructors graduated hourly incentive program Change daily instructor schedules to match the morning changes Cross check instructors daily labor between RTP and Flaik Authorize daily labor in Flaik Research any discrepancies from instructor’s daily schedule Assign Private lessons to instructors as they are sold per Instructor rankings Work closely with SSS Supervisors on various duties throughout each day Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum skills, experience, and education required for this job: High school graduate or GED preferred Prior cash handling experience preferred Must have greater than average computer proficiency; strong computer and keyboards skills Must be neat, accurate, well organized and have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Must enjoy working with the public and have excellent customer service skills Must maintain a positive/friendly attitude often under stressful conditions with both co-workers and guests Must be flexible, take initiative and work successfully in a team environment Must be willing to work outside for periods of time throughout the day Adhere to all safety policies Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation’s Service Excellence standards

Physical Requirements: Must be minimum 18 years of age Must stand for long periods of time Must operate computer keyboard for extended periods of time Communicate clearly in English both in person and on the phone

Miscellaneous information: This is a hourly non-exempt position and is subject to overtime pay Position requires working weekends and holidays as needed Employment for this job is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check

The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.

Steamboat area base hourly pay range: $15.50 - $21.00 per hour
