Software Engineer lll
  • DLM
    • Not a specialized role. Not entry level but not specialized
  • General knowledge of networking, wifi and testing
  • Need someone who will be faster at learning than entry level
  • DLM testing
  • Device Lifecycle Management
  • Final validation before anyone else gets it into production
  • “Gatekeepers internal”
  • In Auto or Manual, preferably Manual
  • Easily learned skill set
  • General background of testing and wifi
  • This role will not be as specialized
  • Network topology will have a DHCP server and that houses DNS – not as in depth, but basic understanding how it works
  • Chris onboards this person, he trains them up on “best practices for testing” still keeps in communication with them but then go to DLM testing team.
  • Needs to hire asap, 6 month + contracts indefinite….
  • This one is more strict hybrid role
  • Interview: 1 hour WEBEX and then done!

  • DLM tester – looking for someone who has general knowledge of networking and Wi-Fi protocols, not expert.

  • Able to grasp concepts quickly, experience in manual testing, STEM communication, familiar with how modems / routers work

    • 3 open spots

    • Years of experience 2+ preferred

    • Cultural fit is a must

    • Not entry level, but not specialized role

      • Candidate will be trained on my team, then moved under APO (Production) side

        • 4 weeks of training on my team before moving

Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications.Supports and/or installs software applications/operating systems.Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software.Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.Performs a variety of complicated tasks.A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. 5- 10 years of experience.
