THIS IS AN EXPATRIATE ROLE LOCATED IN JAPAN. THIS ASSIGNMENT WILL REQUIRE

THE CANDIDATE TO RELOCATE FOR A MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS.MUST BE A US CITIZENThe Sr. Account Manager will be responsible for but not limited to the

following:Direct sales of communications systems to U.S. Federal Government DoD accounts

in the Asia Pacific Region (Korea, Japan, Okinawa, Guam)Identifies diverse customer needs, and understand how our product portfolio

can be applied to satisfy these needsBuild strong relationships and customer knowledge by understanding the

Motorola Solutions business modelUsing the vision, strategy, and tools available, the candidate will

become a trusted adviser to the customer and partnersCandidates will learn, develop, and be capable of clearly articulating

account specific strategies for all Motorola solutionsDevelop and enhance strong customer relationships across multiple levels and

functionsOrchestrate and lead the extended Motorola team to understand the account's

strategy, business imperatives, and top opportunitiesAllocate appropriate resources, and obtain full collaboration of internal

product groups and external partners as necessary to meet the needs of key

accountsQualifications:Bachelors Degree with 4+ years of sales/public safety/military

experience OR 8+ years of sales/public safety/military experienceA technical background to include RF communications, First Responder

software application platforms (CAD, RMS, E911, Video) strongly desiredPrior experience in technical roles selling into or working for the various

Department of Defense Services and or Federal Law Enforcement AgenciesExcellent communication, sales, and writing skills are requiredMust have a demonstrated track record of closing major salesAn understanding of the proposal process with proposal assembly experience

preferredWorking knowledge of IP networking, Information Assurance and or Cyber

Security a plusMust be a self-motivated problem solverAn ideal candidate will be able to help customers envision solutions,

services, and applicationsSolid working knowledge of Salesforce.com, Google Productivity Suite is

strongly desiredDevelopment and execution of sales and go-to-market strategies in a highly

collaborative environment is imperativeMust be self-reliant and able to work effectively from a remote officeAbility to obtain security clearance as requiredResidential Location and Travel Requirements:Must be able and willing to travel 50% - 75% within territoryThe base salary range for this position is $90,000-95,000 per year.Basic
