Description Robert Half has partnered with a design firm in Englewood in search of a Sr. Accountant! The Sr. Accountant position is paying $80,000-$90,000 + bonus! The Sr. Accountant position is offering a hybrid work schedule after a training period.The Sr. Accountant will be responsible for the following:
Ensure the precise and timely processing of client invoices and credit applications.
Prepare and update comprehensive projection spreadsheets.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger monthly to ensure accuracy.
Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports and project profitability reports.
Handle credit card reconciliation and ensure all charges are accurately entered in Deltek.
Oversee the preparation of annual LOC renewal documents and ensure compliance with federal and state agencies.
Collaborate with partners to maintain the 401(k) plan and set up informational meetings for the staff.
Assist project managers in understanding project profitability.
Ensure the precise entry of bank statement reconciliations, including cash disbursements and receipts.
Manage the setup and closeout of projects in Deltek, including the reconciliation of all fees and payments.
Requirements for the Sr. Accountant include:
7+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
Experience being the sole accountant for an organization or being on a very small accounting team
Proficient with pivot tables & vlookups in Excel
Engineering, Architecture, Design or Construction experience (preferred, not required)
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business (preferred, not required)
Deltek experience (preferred, not required)
