- Act as a high-level technical expert in design development, coding, testing, and debugging new software applications (or significant enhancements to existing software)
- Design, develop, operate, and maintain software components and systems to apply to and integrate with engineering, scientific, regulatory, and manufacturing requirements
- Perform and approve code and test reviews
- Exercise considerable latitude in determining technical objectives
- Define software development best practices and introduce new, state-of-the-art techniques
- Mentor early-career software engineers
- Minimum 8 years experience in software engineering, design, or development
- Expertise in C# with a strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design
- Proficiency with databases such as MySQL, Azure SQL, NoSQL, and/or Redis Cache
- Experience contributing to application architecture and design (e.g., architecture, scalability, performance, design patterns, and reliability)
- Thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys working as part of a team
- Interested in leadership opportunities by helping other software engineers improve their skills
