The Sr Cloud Engineer will be responsible for the engineering and operations of next-generation hybrid multi-cloud environment with on-prem and cloud resources, Tier III platform support and change control process. This individual will also work closely with, applications, cyber security, architects, and other teams to ensure services are designed to meet SNC's needs, and are meeting SLA along with adhering to SNC's security and compliance requirements.

Must-haves:• Bachelor's Degree in a related field with at least 5 or more years of relevant experience• Higher education may substitute for relevant experience• Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education• Typically 5 years of experience implementing and supporting AWS and/or Azure Cloud Operations• Typically 5 years of experience implementing and supporting VMware (VRealize, VRealize Operations, VRealize Automation)• Typically 5 years of experience with IT Operations Monitoring Tools (PRTG, VROperations, Solarwinds)• Typically 5 years experience designing and implementing cloud solutions using IAAS and PAAS• Ability to Trouble shoot Network connectivity between Server Infrastructure• Understanding of Active Directory Federation Services• Ability to configure and manage Windows and Linux servers• Certifications o AWS Cloud Foundations OR o Azure Fundamentals• The ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance may be required.

Preferred:• Knowledge of virtual firewalls, IPSEC VPN tunnels, and networks in AWS cloud environment preferred.• Experience in migrating standalone infrastructure to AWS and Azure• Understanding of and experience with the five pillars of a well-architected framework• Proven ability to collaborative with multi-disciplinary teams of business analysts, developers, data scientists, and subject matter experts• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with all levels of an organization.• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision• At least One of the following Certifications: • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate • AWS Certified Developer - Associate • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate • Microsoft Certified: Implementing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions • Microsoft Certified: Architecting Microsoft Azure Subscription

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. Estimated Starting Salary Range: $117,040.88 - $160,931.20

SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
