Description: Job Title: Senior Logistics Specialist Job Code: SAS20210511-72181 Job Location: Colorado Springs, CO Essential Functions: L3Harris Technologies is seeking an experienced logistics engineer to support Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities on the MOSSAIC program. Support logistics activities for the Eglin and Space Fence radars on the MOSSAIC contract utilizing standard logistics practices and processes.

Provide analysis using logistics tools and metrics to support provisioning.

Record logistics management information utilizing GOLDesp integrated logistics support software system.

Develop stock listing SDFP (Supplemental Data for Provisioning) packages

Develop Support Equipment Requirement Documents (SERD)

Manage calibration requirements for assigned equipment

Support the technical order and engineering drawing development process

Support REMSEC (Remanence Security) analysis studies

Manage the repair cycle process for on-equipment, off-equipment, and associated spares. Responsibilities include: provide supply support through material research, ordering, warranty tracking, packaging, handling, storage and transporting.

Analyze technical data, failure analysis reports, and original equipment manufacturing notices to determine/formulate recommendations regarding system sparing, repair cycle venues, failure corrective actions, and sustainable replacement items.

Receive, track, document, status and store parts in all phases of the repair cycle.

Initiate and track all system Purchase Requisitions (PRs)

Disburse material received: consume (issue) expendables and reassign locations of LRUs and Equipment via GOLDesp

Support annual and spot inventories, reporting to inventory/property POCs

Coordinate transfer of material and equipment to government via DD Form 1149

Process overseas shipments in accordance with ITAR policies and procedures

Coordinate with Security for classified shipments

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a technology field or an Associate’s degree in a technology field with 4 years relevant experience or, graduation from a military or commercial electronics course, and at least 4 years relevant experience, or 8 years relevant experience desired.

Experience developing and presenting logistics product technical documentation and training material.

Experience in acquisition life cycle processes and product development.

Active Secret Security Clearance.

Preferred Additional Skills:

Hold an active DoD Common Access Card (CAC)

Experience with USAF Supply System ILS-S

Experience in development and acquisition of major weapon system

Operations, Maintenance, or Logistics experience with fixed site or deployable space operations systems.

Experience/familiarity with MOSSAIC program mission area (as an operator/maintainer or as a contractor).

Experience developing and maintaining Logistics Management Information using MIL-PRF-49506 as guidance.

Familiar with DoD and commercial logistics tools and databases: FedLog, WebFLIS, D043, GOLDesp as well as various LMI Programs. Extensive knowledge of LMI/LSA data products.

Understand drawing and specification hierarchy and development.

Familiar with ASME-Y14.100 and all equivalent guidance pertaining to engineering drawings.

Working knowledge of technical order development, content, and change activities.

Possess excellent technical skills to understand RAM (Reliability Maintainability and Availability analysis) and Life Cycle Cost modeling.

Familiar with ITAR policies and procedures.

Working knowledge of maintenance contracts management and procedures for warranty repairs

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role in Colorado is $58500 - $109000 (salary ranges in other locations could differ). This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
