You'll conceptualize and deliver complex mechanical structures and systems and your technical duties include the design and development of new products and processes throughout the product lifecycle.

Must-haves:
  • Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering discipline and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience
  • Significant practical knowledge of engineering principles and practices
  • Experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools
  • Small team leadership experience o Familiarity working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
  • Experience in a tight, schedule driven environment
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required. Learn more about the background check process for Security Clearances

Preferred:
  • Solidworks CAD experience (2D and 3D)
  • Experience applying and interpreting Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5
  • Understanding of Engineering Simulation such as Finite Element structural Analysis (FEA), Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Thermal Analysis
  • Background in the Aviation and Defense Industry
  • Knowledge of industry-standard mechanical design principles, to include, but not limited to parametric design, model-based definition, material hardware selection, manufacturing, and production processes
  • Enovia/PLM experience a plus

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $117,040.88 - $160,931.20

SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
