You will be using your skills and expertise to define, design, develop, test, certify and improve cutting-edge software products. These cover a very wide range from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated aircraft to orbital and space exploration systems. You'll perform coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting of systems and software throughout our development process. Your technical duties involve the design and development of new software products throughout the product lifecycle.

The Enterprise Software Integration Lead will be responsible for integrating tools, processes, requirements and design of system software across the Enterprise, spanning flight, mission, and ground software. The Enterprise Software Integration Lead will work across teams to derive software requirements and develop design standards. The Enterprise Software Integration Lead will set the vision for the Enterprise software as a unified product and communicate the development roadmap to the team and customer.

Must-haves:
  • Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other related discipline and typically 16 or more years of relevant experience.
  • Advanced capabilities using Computer Aided Engineering tools.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership experience in a fast-paced development environment.
  • Thorough understanding and experience spanning the full software development lifecycle.
  • Understanding of industry standard software languages such as C, C#, C, HTML, Java, Python, and Bash.
  • Experience with software tools for requirements tracking, code reviews, static analysis, library and artifact repository, and automated build.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, and Spiral.
  • Thorough understanding and experience with open systems standards.
  • Thorough understanding of systems engineering principles and experience deriving software requirements from system, segment and subsystem requirements.
  • Willingness to work on a small team performing complex engineering design evaluations for a diverse mission where everyone's input matters
  • Superb presentation skills with documented presentation experience to senior decision making and technical audiences.
  • Desire for new challenges, to be on the ground floor of an exciting capability for our nation, and to be part of the initial cadre developing a new multi-domain system.
  • Experience working on multi-disciplinary design and development teams.
  • An active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility required

Preferred:
  • Experience in Aerospace and Defense development environments.
  • Experience across all phases of the program development lifecycle, from capture through design, implementation and test, with emphasis on new start projects.
  • Embedded software development experience.
  • Enterprise software development experience
  • Flight and safety critical software development experience including familiarity with Mil-Std-882E.
  • Experience certifying flight and safety critical software.
  • Experience integrating software with safety critical avionics and with mission avionics in a Modular Open Systems Approach.
  • Experience with design and implementation of fault tolerance in system and software architectures.
  • Domain knowledge of network architecture implementation.
  • Knowledge of Risk Management Framework and cybersecurity considerations regarding software architectures.
  • Experience with industry standard System and Software development and management tools, such as JIRA, Cameo EA, DOORS.

This position requires current/active Top Secret with SCI eligibility U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. Citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. Estimated Starting Salary Range: $154,786.56 - $212,831.52

SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
