Maxar is seeking a Software Engineer to join our RaPID team in Westminster, CO. The role If you enjoy working collaboratively to provide solutions to complex problems in the photogrammetry , geometry, and imagery rendering domain , this would be an excellent opportunity for you to explore . - Drive a quality-oriented mindset. This isn't a test position, but testing is part of the work everyone on the team does.
- Foster and support the on-going growth and practices of agile cloud development within the organization.
- Provide Tier-3 level support of the software you and your team own .
- Own multiple applications and services that make up the Mosaics domain.

- US Citizenship and willing and able to obtain a gov security clearance
- BS in a technical discipline (Computer Science preferred) or commensurate work experience ( 6 years for a Bachelors, 3 years for a Masters)
- 8 or more years of experience programming in Python or Java
- 1+ year experience building and supporting solutions in cloud technology (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc . )
- E xposure to GIS and/or digital signal processing
- 3+ years a gile software development lifecycle experience
- Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
- AWS Associate or Pro Certification
- Other languages - Ruby, Go, C
- A math , physics , or science focused minor or major
- SAFe Agilest 4 Certification
- Experience within the Earth Imaging Industry
- Experience building monitoring and alerting solutions
