You'll conceptualize and design new products and processes throughout the product lifecycle from analog and digital electronic circuit card assemblies to fully integrated systems.

Learn more about IAS Must-haves:- Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience in spacecraft electrical power system (EPS) technology maturation, design, development, production, test, or sustainment.
- Experience with vehicle EPS integration and test.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics, parts lists, specifications, instructions and test procedures.
- Desire for new challenges, to be on the ground floor of an exciting capability for our nation, and to be part of the initial cadre developing a new multi-domain system.
- Willingness to work on a small team performing complex engineering design evaluations for a diverse mission where everyone's input matters.
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams.
- An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance required
- An active Top Secret with SCI eligibility U.S. Security Clearance
- Masters of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline and typically 10 or more years of relevant aerospace experience.
- Proficiency in simulations through functional and logical models and system analysis
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
- Experience composing and analyzing Electrical Load Analysis (ELA), circuit modeling, simulation and analysis
- Knowledge of industry standard electrical design principles, to include, but not limited to model-based definition, electrical component selection, manufacturing and production processes
- Familiar with Electro Magnetic Effects (EME) to include, Electro Magnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI)
- Experience in digital or analog circuit design and schematic capture
- Understanding of the printed circuit board layout process and tools
