As a new member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the operational and logistical functions of our sales and distribution center – you are the air traffic controller keeping a pulse on every detail of product inventory and fulfillment.Your experience in supply chain management has given you a deep understanding of the importance of using data and metrics to track, report and forecast. Some of the work that needs to be done:

  • Managing the operational activities fulfillment functions together with the sales team, warehouse, purchasing and client
  • Proactively driving the optimization of workflows, inventory and operational performance to mitigate supply chain issues
  • Serving as a liaison between our vendors and your clients to ensure delivery at the highest levels
  • Analyzing data and metrics to predict and improve delivery of products and optimized inventory
  • Working closely with purchasing and accounting on inventory forecasting, seasonal preparedness, warehouse stock levels as well as sourcing new product and vendors
  • Coordinating with warehouse operations for planning, scheduling and issue resolution - maintaining continuous knowledge of client order status
  • Recruiting, training and retaining a world class team
  • Traveling between Denver and Dallas for the first 90 days

Qualifications

Your experience includes:

  • Undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing the supply chain for a high-volume third-party distributor with leadership responsibilities
  • Demonstrated experience improving processes, controls and workflows to optimize inventory for on-time fulfillment – strategic thinker and creative problem solver
  • Proven success at building strong relationships with vendors, suppliers and internal teams
  • Exceptional written and oral communications skills and comfortable collaborating at all levels of the organization
  • Technically savvy with strong Office365 and mainstream ERPs– we use NetSuite and NuOrder
  • A gift for engaging and influencing action in an environment where you have no direct authority
  • Ability to work gracefully under pressure, managing multiple projects, changing priorities with attention to detail and impeccable time management
