Summary: RTL is looking for a Systems Administrator to join our team! In this role, you will participate in implementing, maintaining, and supporting information technologies, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Oracle Solaris, and Microsoft Windows systems and components. Systems Administrator will support Product Support Facility (PSF) on Peterson Space Force Base (PSFB).

Specific Duties include:
  • Develops, schedules, and performs installations and upgrades to OS/COTS, software, and database packages per established IT policies and procedures.
  • Develop scripts to improve system administration and deployment automation
  • Develop and install upgrades to existing Red Hat, Windows, and Virtual systems
  • Coordinating the integration of new development systems as they transition to sustainment.
  • Responsible for managing appropriate software solutions to ensure server data integrity, monitoring and tuning the system to achieve optimum performance level, monitoring security alerts and application systems, and working with other staff to ensure that all appropriate patches are applied in an automated and timely fashion.
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide support across the information system
Basic Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree and 7+ years' experience or bachelors with 9+ years' experience or equivalent in Systems Administration
  • Experience with OS/COTS, software
  • Security+ CE
  • Experience with Windows OS, certification preferred
  • Experience with Linux OS, certification preferred
  • Experience with Oracle Solaris 10/11, certification preferred
Security Clearance: This position requires an Active DoD Secret Clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
