Come andexperience your future!You will use your system safety experience toevaluate hardware and software ensuring missionsuccess for small satellite programs. As our SSE, your responsibilities will also include the following tasks: Develop and/or update Preliminary Hazard List(PHL), Preliminary Hazard Analysis (PHA), FunctionalHazard Analyses (FHAs), System Hazard Analyses(SHA), and Safety Assessment Reports (SAR) Prepare presentations and participate in DesignReviews, Test Readiness Reviews, TechnicalInterchange Meetings, and various working groupsand safety review meetings Support the development and updating of SystemSafety documents to support Customer, RangeSafety, and contractual requirements Review and provide input to test procedures foradherence to System Safety requirements Coordinate with test range safety teams and writingrange safety reports to support testing Assist in the development and maintenance of aHazard Tracking System (HTS) used to documentreal and potential hazards, their assessments, andtheir respective mitigation's.To promote the sharing of ideas, Lockheed Martin fosters an inclusive work environment that encourages differences and big-picture thinking. Knowledge and application of System Safety design and operations safety principles to include experience with hazard identification, analysis, risk mitigation and/or associated deliverable documentation. Effective communication skills with the ability toengage and interact in group meeting/working environments with team members, developmentorganizations and customers. Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel,PowerPoint, Outlook). Ability to obtain a security clearanceDesired Skills:TS-SCI w/Poly, Top Secret, or Secret Security Clearance Experience using MIL-STD-882E, DO-178C, and AFSPCMAN 91-710, or other relevant industry and/or range safety standards Experience defining safety requirements, influencing design to integrate safety requirements, and verifying safety requirements. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday offPay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $82,200 - $157,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
