Working within Computershare Technology Services providing support to the Business Services Corporate Trust business line. This role includes managing strategic initiatives impacting the technical environment and onboarding of new business lines and supporting systems.

A role you will love

This role is responsible for the development, maintenance and delivery of comprehensive project plans for assigned projects. Takes project from original concept through final implementation and deployment. Responsible for the day to day management and oversight of assigned Technology projects. This includes but not limited to project planning, developing requirement documentation, resource management, technical product specifications, change management and actively engaging with other members of the project team.

  • Manage projects with top-down oversight throughout entire execution to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation.
  • Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
  • Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
  • Analyze economics of project plans and provide actionable feedback relating to cost benefit and return-on-investment standards.
  • Review proposed modifications on project plans, including meeting with interested parties to approve and implement beneficial changes.

What will you bring to the role?

Required:

  • 5+ years' experience as a IT Project Manager managing, complex implementation projects and programs of work.
  • Understanding and experience in Project Management lifecycle processes, strategies and methods.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders from different levels in the organization.
  • Excellent analytical and research skills with the ability to collect and analyse complex material and data, and present it in accessible formats.
  • Strong process development skills, with the ability to learn and understand technical concepts in order to interpret, document and formalize procedures.
  • High levels of initiative with ability to deal with multiple projects simultaneously with conflicting priorities.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Agile development methodologies and principles.
  • Experience using and implementing project management techniques aligned with agile development principles.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and strong attention to detail.

Preferred:

  • Working on large system implementation projects.
  • Past experience with company integration projects.
