Live Sports on Amazon allows viewers to watch events on any device, including televisions, and across multiple distribution channels including Prime Video, Twitch and other first-party streaming apps. This capability opens up new opportunities for brands to reach customers with advertising that is more relevant and customized than they get from traditional broadcast television.We are seeking a highly motivated and detail oriented Traffic Coordinator to develop and manage the scheduling of ad placements across our Live Sports media. The Traffic Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring flawless execution through operational excellence while balancing game formats, customer requirements, process limitations, and technical integrations. The role will, at times, focus tactical on execution of a single event and at other times work more strategically on scaling our scheduling processes and product offerings across all other events and locales.Key job responsibilities Act as the traffic lead for specific sport properties, ensuring schedule alignment Work with programming on formats for each event Gather creative information from creative team and/or advertisers for each event schedule Work directly with sales on inventory management, clearing spots and make-goods Develop and manage the scheduling of ad placements across Amazon’s Live Sports media Communicate and coordinate with multiple departments to ensure all elements on a log are accounted for and delivered by deadline. Deliver accurate event schedules to playout partners and DAI tech teams in a timely manner Process reconciliation from play-out partners to ensure spots run correctly Deliver event reports to Nielsen to ensure overnight reports are correct Troubleshoot ad scheduling issues and conduct post-event follow-up Assist various departments with report requests Dive into the DAI (Dynamic Ad Insertion) technical fulfillment process Lead post season retrospective meeting Develop scalable solutions to address key operational challenges and customer pain points Monitor events outside of regular hours to address any real-time issues Other duties as assignedA day in the lifeAmazon is unique to the sports broadcasting industry. You will be the traffic lead for specific sport properties to ensure all schedules are in sync with various teams. In between many meetings, each day will be filled with gathering pieces from various teams to build the schedule, refine each schedule, deliver to stakeholders, troubleshoot scheduling issues and conduct post event follow up while managing the odds and ends for each event. You will dive deep into the technical details of the DAI fulfillment process to gain a thorough understanding and collaborate with the DAI technical teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize the ad delivery workflow.You will also monitor specific events in the evening and/or weekend to ensure schedules air as expected or troubleshoot issues in real-time.You will support the growth of Amazon properties and need to quickly change your focus from one property to another. The traffic coordinator will be a “swiss army knife” on the Amazon Live Events traffic team.About the teamThe Amazon Live Events Traffic team is a small, tight-knit group of 4 individuals who work very closely together. This close-knit team dynamic is a key part of the role and responsibilities. We are highly collaborative, with open lines of communication at all times. We support and back each other up on daily tasks, milestones, and accomplishments. The team works collectively to help each other navigate the daily challenges and workload.Basic Qualifications
2+ years of program or project management experience
Experience working cross functionally with tech and not-tech teams
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology
Experience in MS Access and SQL
Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document
3+ years of traffic experience in television or streaming.

The base pay for this position ranges from $50,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
