The Summer Transfer Driver will be responsible for loading and unloading of all retail, rental and non-inventory product on transfer vehicles. They will be responsible for meeting transfer schedules and operating vehicles to company standard.Essential Job FunctionsPick up and deliver bikes, retail transfers and other items between Rental/Retail stores, the Warehouse and other designated Aspen Skiing Company and external locationsCarefully load bikes in an organized fashion by all team members to prevent damage to rental equipment.Sorts and organizes bikes and helmets according to appropriate destinationLoads trucks, organizing to maximize available space. Unloads trucks at destinationsRecords pickup and delivery information in log booksMaintains safe practices as transfers are done on varying road conditions and in busy, congested areas.Maintains truck logs according to state and federal regulationsMaintains telephone contact with supervisor and team membersRecognizes emergency situations and performs emergency roadside repairs such as changing tires and installing fusesCleans insides of trucksBalance team and individual responsibilities by working with the Rental/Retail team. Remain dependable and adaptable.
