Our next Assistant General Manager will have a unique opportunity to grow into a General Manager role at one of Verde’s new locations.

About the Role:

We are seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) who is hands-on, guest-focused, and team-driven. You will work directly with our current General Manager and ownership team to help oversee daily operations, lead the front-of-house team, drive sales, and maintain Verde’s high standards of service and quality. This is a career-track role with an exciting path toward becoming a General Manager at one of Verde’s upcoming restaurants.

Responsibilities:

Support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations and FOH/BOH coordination

Lead, train, and motivate team members to deliver excellent service and hospitality

Manage scheduling, labor control, and team performance

Assist with inventory, ordering, and vendor management

Handle guest relations and resolve service issues professionally

Uphold and enforce health, safety, and food quality standards

Participate in marketing, events, and community outreach initiatives

Contribute to operational improvements and opening plans for new Verde locations

Qualifications:

2+ years of management experience in a full-service restaurant

Experience with Mexican cuisine a plus, but not required

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Passion for hospitality, team development, and operational excellence

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment

Must be available nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)

Excel, Word, and Google (Sheets, Pages, Drive) applications
