Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in East Hartford, Connecticut. In this role, you will be primarily focused on accounts payable functions and data entry, while also providing support in account reconciliation.Responsibilities: Efficiently processing invoices and maintaining accurate accounts payable records Conducting routine check runs Utilizing tools such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for data entry and invoice processing Assisting with account reconciliation as needed Coding invoices accurately for correct data entry Providing support in other areas as needed, ensuring smooth operation of the accounts department.Requirements Demonstrated proficiency in Account Reconciliation Solid experience with Accounts Payable (AP) Ability to handle Check Runs efficiently Experience in Coding Invoices is required Excellent Data Entry skills Proven competence in Invoice Processing Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel Familiarity with Oracle software Experience with QuickBooks is preferred Knowledge of SAP software is an advantage Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
