Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in Meriden, Connecticut. This role functions within the construction/contractor industry and provides an opportunity to work in an environment that values meticulous and organized individuals. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be tasked with maintaining customer credit records, processing applications, and managing customer inquiries. Responsibilities: Efficiently process customer credit applications with a focus on accuracy. Maintain and update customer credit records to ensure they are accurate and up-to-date. Handle customer inquiries in a timely and meticulous manner, ensuring customer satisfaction. Monitor customer accounts, ensuring appropriate action is taken when necessary. Perform account reconciliations to ensure all financial records are accurate. Utilize skills in Accounts Receivable (AR) to manage and track customer debts. Handle billing tasks, ensuring customers are billed accurately and on time. Apply cash applications, managing and tracking cash transactions. Conduct cash collections, ensuring all customer debts are collected. Use Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to manage and track financial data.Requirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation tasks, ensuring accurate financial records Demonstrable experience in Accounts Receivable (AR), handling invoicing and payment processes Solid knowledge of Billing procedures, including preparing, sending, and storing invoices Experience in Cash Applications, accurately applying and allocating received payments Skills in Cash Collections, following up on outstanding payments and resolving discrepancies Expertise in Commercial Collections, dealing with business-to-business debt recovery Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and financial analysis Familiarity with Oracle software for financial management and reporting Experience with QuickBooks for managing and tracking company finances Knowledge of SAP for integrated business process management Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
