POSITION SUMMARY:  The NDT technician performs non-destructive inspection of components to ensure compliance with Company’s quality system, specifications, and customer requirements. Non-destructive testing disciplines include penetrant testing and radiography testing.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.  The duties and responsibilities regularly performed for this position are:Analyze, Interpret, evaluate and document NDT inspection results in accordance with company procedures, work instructions, applicable standards, specifications, and proceduresRecord inspection, test data and statistics manually or with the aid of a computer or computer-based systemUse comparators, micrometers, scales and calipersEnsure completeness of work in process documentationRead, interpret and set up applicable NDT equipmentRead and interpret all inspection data and customer requirementsEmbrace/implement continuous improvement and lean principles in all activitiesEnsure compliance with Quality ManualMaintain and promote “One Chromalloy” Core ValuesMaintain and promote 5S standards in the work areaAdhere to all Company health, safety and environmental policies while performing job dutiesAnalyze, Interpret, evaluate and document NDT inspection results in accordance with company procedures, work instructions, applicable standards, specifications, and procedures.  Interpret specifications relative to NDT testing and acceptance/rejection criteria.Responsible for writing rework procedure when parts are nonconforming.Record inspection, test data and statistics manually or with the aid of a computer or computer-based systemUse comparators, micrometers, scales and calipersEnsure completeness of work in process documentationAdhere to and promote Corporate Code of Ethical StandardsEnsure compliance with Company RSM/QCM.  Must be aware of ISO/AS9100 quality requirementsRegular and punctual attendance.Follow all Quality and EHS requirements.
