Architectural Designer

Job Title: Staff ArchitectJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Staff Architect with 2+ years of experience to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on healthcare projects, with the potential to also engage in higher education or science and technology projects. You will be responsible for putting together a set of Construction Documents using Revit and will be a key part of our collaborative and inclusive team.Responsibilities

Create and manage Construction Documents using Revit.

Pick up red lines and perform minor level detailing under the direction of the project architect.

Participate in construction administration and architectural drawing processes.

Work on new build and renovation projects, focusing on making healthcare spaces warmer and more welcoming.

Utilize knowledge of NYC, NYS codes and FGI guidelines where applicable.

Ensure compliance with institutional project standards.

Essential Skills

2 to 5 years of professional experience in the architecture field.

Professional experience with Revit.

Experience in construction document production.

Strong communication skills.

Ability to use sound and independent judgment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in healthcare, science and technology, or educational projects.

Knowledge of NYC, NYS codes and FGI guidelines.

Experience with institutional projects.

Previous experience in construction administration and architectural drawing.

Autocad experience.

Work EnvironmentWe are a medium-sized firm with locations in NYC, Philly, and DC, with about 30 people in the CT office and 125 people in total. Our projects range from new construction to additions and renovations, including both interior and exterior work design and execution. We foster a collaborative office culture that promotes inclusion and ownership of projects at all levels. The nature of the architecture business means deadlines are intensive. The typical work hours are from 8:30 to 5:30, with some flexibility on a case-by-case basis.
