Assistant Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team as the #2, the assistant to the Head Super. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical and electrical background, with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain various systems within our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure that all equipment operates efficiently and effectively, contributing to a safe and productive work environment.

Duties:

Must be available for on call nights and weekends

Turn Apartments(cleaning, repairing, replacing, carpentry, sheet rock, electric, plumbing, appliances)

Perform routine maintenance and repairs in apartments and on grounds.

Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status.

Collaborate with team members to implement preventive maintenance programs.

Demonstrate leadership skills by guiding less experienced technicians when required.

Qualifications

Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance.

Proficiency in electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.

Excellent customer service skills with a focus on teamwork and communication.

Leadership experience is a plus, particularly in guiding maintenance teams.

Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication.

A valid driver's license and personal transportation required.

Must Pass a background check
