Details of your in-office schedule will be finalized with your manager. Position Summary: Applies basic professional knowledge, skills and training to contribute to developing, testing, debugging, maintaining and documenting components of information systems applications. Defines user requirements, procedures, and processes to optimize performance efficiency.Position Description:- Performs routine and simple maintenance, problem resolution and enhancements to software applications.
- Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents and maintains simple to moderately complex programs, using detailed specifications prepared by senior colleagues.
- Analyzes and offers improvement suggestions to existing system logic difficulties.
- Assists in the development and documentation of user manuals.
- Partners with technical staff to learn and understand problems with software.
- Adheres to defined programming standards and structured coding techniques.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or a directly related field.
- Zero to two years of professional IT experience.
- Knowledge of application programming language and development tools.
- May have knowledge of 3GLs, Java, and/ or SQL.
- Knowledge of structured analysis and technical design techniques.
