Billing Clerk

Description We are looking for a meticulous Billing Clerk to join our team based in East Hartford, Connecticut. The role focuses on managing customer accounts, handling billing functions, and maintaining records in a professional manner. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity and is situated within the industry of Accounting Software Systems. Responsibilities Manage and process time entries accurately. Run and process prebills to ensure timely billing. Handle the submission of Ledes bills through various billing websites. Oversee the processing of accounts receivable. Generate monthly reports to track billing and accounts receivable. Verify and maintain billing data and information in Litify and Juris accounting systems. Handle inbound customer calls and resolve inquiries. Ensure legal billing procedures are followed and documented. Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions based on account status.
