Boat Detailing Position – Seasonal (May 1 – Sept 1) | $20 - $35/hr

Superior Marine, LLC is looking for motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our yacht washing and detailing team for the summer season! This is a seasonal, independent contractor position starting at $20 per hour, with opportunities for performance-based incentives and bonuses to earn higher compensation. No prior detailing experience is required - we provide hands-on training to ensure all the team members learn the proper techniques for high-quality boat care. Work outdoors in a hands-on, fast-paced environment, caring for high-end vessels in Mystic, CT.

Position Details:

Seasonal: Approx. May 1st – September 1st (open to discuss)

-Team members work solely for Superior Marine, LLC during the season but can have flexible schedule based on workload and availability

Schedule: Approx. Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM (weather permitting) – Must be open to weekend shifts when needed to makeup for rain days

Duties Include:

-Exterior boat washing (hulls, decks, and topsides)

-Waxing and polishing fiberglass and metal surfaces

-Interior detailing (on select jobs)

-Proper use of cleaning solutions and equipment to maintain vessel quality

-Incentives: Performance-based bonuses for meeting weekly goals and completing boats efficiently

-Weather Considerations: Work will be dependent on weather conditions, but team members must be prepared for occasional rain-day work if the schedule requires

Ideal Candidates:

-Individuals who demonstrate strong work ethic and attention to detail

-Experience boating or with washing, buffing, and polishing is a plus but we are willing to train those who are motivated

-Comfortable working outdoors in a physical, hands-on environment

-Capable of lifting 50+ lbs, bending, and being on their feet for extended periods

-Team-oriented but able to work independently and efficiently

-Quick learners who can follow instructions, problem-solve, and adapt as needed

-Have reliable transportation to job sites in the Mystic, CT area
