job summary:
Our client is seeking a Business Analyst to join their growing team in Stamford CT. This role is responsible for defining business rules and process flows for a large cross-functional location databaseproject. This includes but is not limited to documenting requirements and user stories detailing robust, high-levelrequirements for all impacted teams for all new work as well as requirements for enhancements of existing in-flightfeatures. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Skills/Abilities and Knowledge- Ability to read, write and speak English language to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communication in a clear, straight-forward, and professional manner.
- Excellent understanding of the customer life cycle, and how it is enabled by underlying systems and processes.
- Proficent with organizational and time management skills - this position will be working on multiple projects with multiple customers concurrently.
- Ability to prioritize and organize effectively and manage multiple projects and assignments.
- Ability to develop working relationships with peers and project members.
- Excellent critical thinking skills.
- Working understanding of Visio, Powerpoint, Excel, Word, Jira, Chalk
- Detail-oriented; ability to analyze business objectives and goals on an investigative level
- Ability to work independently with minimal instruction.
- Maintains a positive, forward thinking professional demeanor under pressure.
- Understands when to escalate to leadership.
- Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Business Analysis experience or Cable/wireless related experience - 3+ Years
- Telecommunications Industry experience - 3+
- Business Analyst or Product Owner - 2+
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent presentation skills with small-to medium-sized groups.
- Responsible for eliciting, validating, verifying and documenting feature requirements from impacted stakeholders.
- Translate high-level business needs into User Stories to illustrate purpose of functional requirements, always with a clear and concise understanding of the customer experience (consumer and internal business partners)
- Leads meetings and working sessions with cross-functional stakeholder groups to drive collaboration and positive outcomes.
- Provide recommendations to management for critical, timely decisions.
- Responsible for leading multiple projects/features simultaneously.
- Ensures structure, content and integrity of all features artifacts are maintained.
- Serves as a point of escalation for architects, scrum masters, and other business analysts and project leaders.
