Role : Citrix Engineer

Location : Hartford, CT (REMOTE till COVID)

Job Type : C2H

Required Experience and Skills:
  • - 9+ years’ experience as a Citrix Engineer and/or Engineer in an enterprise environment, including actual hands-on Citrix installation and upgrades for Citrix 7.x and newer.
  • - Extensive experience with Citrix technologies, including CVAD (Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 7.1811 or later), Citrix NetScaler, PVS, Web Interface, Citrix Provisioning and Machine Creation Services (MCS), AppDNA, Citrix AppLayering, Citrix Workspace Environment Manager.
  • - 7+ years of systems administration experience with Windows Server environment
  • - Ability to advise on up to 5 year technical roadmaps and deliver updates to Leadership
  • - Participate and advise technical workload for Team using Minimally Viable Product methodology
  • - Lead and direct Teams day to day activities to complete projects on time, in scope, and in budget.
  • - Experience with making business decisions on new technology, designs, or products
  • - Experience in Migrations from platforms and solutions.
  • - Maintain and direct strict change control on the infrastructure.
  • - Effective writing/verbal communication skills to Leadership
  • - At least 4 years’ experience of Microsoft technologies; Server OS, Desktop OS, Active Directory, Office365, Group Policy, Group Policy, Active Directory, Cryptography, RDS, DFS/FRS, DNS, Security Posturing, Volume License Management
  • - Experience with VMware technologies; vSphere, vCenter, vMotion, Storage vMotion.
  • - Experience with storage technologies
  • - Extensive experience defining, creating and testing Group Policy updates for desktop OS
  • - Foster a learning environment where skills and knowledge are shared to build the Teams capacity and capabilities.
  • - Understanding of standard enterprise tools to develop or implement infrastructure hardware, software, or other technical components
  • - Experience providing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and quickly resolve routine problems to ensure infrastructure stability
  • - CCP-V (Citrix Certified Professional Virtualization) certification

Preferred Skills (skills that would be beneficial but are not required):
  • - Knowledge of Agile Framework and SAFe
  • - App-V Integration
  • - Experience with Citrix Cloud and/or similar technologies, such as AWS, Google Cloud, and/or Azure
