Description We are offering a contract opportunity for a Data Reporting Analyst in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The role involves designing, developing, and supporting Database Management Systems (DBMS). You will be tasked with analyzing data requirements, data dictionaries, and database schemas, and creating an overall data architecture that supports the needs of the business within a secure environment. Responsibilities: Design, develop, amend, optimize, and certify database schema design to meet system requirements Gather, analyze, and normalize information related to and from business processes, functions, and operations to evaluate data credibility and determine relevance and meaning Develop database and warehousing designs across multiple platforms and computing environments Develop an overall data architecture that supports the information needs of the business in a flexible but secure environment Support various DBMS and relevant computing environments Use SQL and other modeling techniques to build and maintain databases Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth and efficient database administration Contribute to the design and implementation of data warehousing for business process functions Work with multiple platforms to create a cohesive, efficient data architecture Manage and update the data dictionary, ensuring its relevance and accuracy. Requirements Proficient in operations and database design Experience in workstation support and SQL Knowledge of warehousing and computer sciences is essential Ability to understand and improve business process functions Expertise in database management and modeling techniques Experience in database administration on multiple platforms Ability to determine relevance of data and information Knowledge of data architecture, database schema, and data dictionary Familiarity with computing environment and DBMS Experience with EO/IR systems and information systems Bachelor's degree in computer sciences or a related field.
