Dental Assistant - Danbury, CT

Description:

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dental professionals and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice. If you have experience as a Dental Receptionist and possess strong organizational skills, we encourage you to apply. No previous experience is required. Training will be provided.

```Responsibilities```

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures

- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations

- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment

- Take digital dental x-rays, CBCT and Panoramic X-rays

- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures

- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care

- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems such as , Eaglesoft, or Dentrix

- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow

- Order and maintain dental supplies and equipment inventory

```Skills```

To excel in this role, you should have the following skills:

- Proficiency in dental office systems and software Eaglesoft

- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry

- Strong assisting skills to support the dentist during procedures

- Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology for digital impressions

- Ability to accurately document medical information
