We are currently looking for a Desktop Support Specialist for one of our clients in Connecticut. This is a full-time permanent position.
Responsibilities:- Provide day-to-day support of Windows, hardware, applications, general networking, and security devices
- Service and diagnosis of hardware and software
- Remote/onsite support
- Handle phone calls
- Respond quickly to problems and demonstrate skillful problem solving
- Work with team members to assure that the highest level of customer satisfaction and communication is always maintained.
- Rotating after hours on call schedule
- Experience with configuration, installation, and maintenance of software and hardware (PCs, Macs, operating systems, system software, software applications, antivirus, printers, and displays)
- Experience producing detailed documentation of user requests and resolutions for all calls
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to maintain and update routine information systems and programs
- Experience configuring, installation, maintenance, and diagnostics of LAN/WAN networks
- Experience with Office 365 and Office suite products
- Ability to multitask and resolve issues quickly
- Experience with PC imaging
- ITIL certification
