Hi, Hope you are doing well I have an

• Create the strategy/rewrite for an aging C# .net portal; this includes modernizing a Drupal application w/portal access, Strategizing and Partnering w/Architecture on portal vision and integration strategies, Planning the rewrite of multiple integrated systems, including work with security and cloud security applications.
• Support and modernize their WordPress/PHP applications (two of them), which includes an upgrade/move of the application within one AWS technology to another. Additionally, recommend improvements.
• Support and/or upgrade their Atlassian products, one needs to be moved to Cloud so a partnership with a vendor may be needed

• The Successful Candidate will show a history moving from legacy/modern legacy tech to new cutting-edge technologies such as, AWS, Azure, Python, React etc. An ability to analyze, develop, rewrite and/or implement business solutions for multiple systems, such as Agent Portal, public websites, Intranet, and others.
• Responsible for all aspects of systems development including software architecture, user interfaces, data integrity and learning native languages such as PHP, .Net, Python and other languages required to support innovative solutions.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years software development work in OOAD with a mix of technologies that might include .Net, Python, Java, J2EE etc.
• Preferred insurance industry experience
• Hands-on experience in designing and developing web applications
• Experience in developing MVC web applications: Presentation layer, Business Logic Layer, Data Layer, Network, Security, Scalability, and Performance tuning.

• Must have professional experience developing internet-based business systems, with a working knowledge of portals, content management systems, secure web development practices, user interface design, and effective software development methodology.
• Must be a strong, results-oriented, team player willing to work in a highly dynamic environment.
• Must possess the ability to learn new technologies quickly and perform critical problem-solving as necessary.
• Strong documentation skills with excellent oral and written communication skills are also a must.
