DrafterJob Number: 352584Category: -Engineering & Design SBUDescription: An On-Site Position, Drafter/ Detailer job is currently available at Belcan in Windsor, CT. This is a full time, direct position with full benefits. Great matching candidates will have skills with using NX and some practical drafting or detailing experience. You will be part of a team: applying drafting standard practices, methods, and techniques for a variety of products within the aerospace industry.Job Duties:Principle Responsibilities:Use appropriate drafting standards to produce various detail, assembly, and layout drawings, or other diagrams and schematics to transform the design into amore useful visual representation.

Revise drawings to conform to design change orders.

Assist design personnel, as required, in all other aspects of drawing creation process.

Required Qualifications:Qualifications:A. Education: Minimum of an Associate degree with engineering experience.B. Minimum Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of experience.C. Technology: Proficient in the use of CAD NX, and other computer processing tools. Proficient in the use of PLM data management software Teamcenter.D. Citizenship: Due to the nature of the job, US Citizenship is required.E. Ability to obtain and maintain a US Security Clearance.Preferred Qualifications & Skills:Model based design (MBD)

Compensation:We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of $40,000 to $80,000 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
