Apply today and start Engineering Better Outcomes!JOB DUTIES:Develop safety requirements according to ARP-4761 and MIL-STD-882Perform worst case analyses on electrical and electronic designsDevelop FMEA/FMECA analyses according to MIL-STD-1629 for electrical and electronic components and systemsPerform MTBF analyses for electrical and electronic components and systemsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:At least a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related disciplineDemonstrated performance with developing FMEA/FMECA analyses for electrical and electronic components and systemsExperience supporting MTBF and worst case analysesFamiliarity with aerospace standards and design assurance guidelines such as DO-178 and DO-254Experience with technical report writingFamiliarity with issue tracking systems such as CAPA or FRACASDue to the nature of the work U.S. Citizenship is requiredPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:Experience with detailed electrical and electronic systems design for harsh environmentsExperience with evaluating for single event upsetsExperience with RSS and MONTE-CARLO analysis techniquesExperience with structured requirements documentation systems such as DOORS or JamaFamiliarity with MCAD programs such as NX, Solidworks, or AutoCADFamiliarity with ECAD programs such as Xpedition, Altium, or OrCADWe provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $95,000 to $135,000. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
